The corner led AC Raczyny's Edgar Penkalski to fire away a dangerous shot which Ovidiu Marin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ovidiu Marin came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Raczyny's Feliks Mocko. But to his dismay, Feliks Mocko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Lagiewniki in the 14th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ovidiu Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Bobeica's late challenge caught a AC Raczyny's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olimpiu Bobeica helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AC Raczyny booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Bobeica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidiu Marin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliks Mocko's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliks Mocko in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Marin saved FC Cosula-BTF- from getting behind. Alfred Starogardzki acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Petre Bogătan. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Raczyny's goalkeeper Alfred Starogardzki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes in the game, Dacian Jurăscu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alfred Starogardzki having to interfere. In the 41st minute, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vintilă Bădescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Olimpiu Bobeica hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Alfred Starogardzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Jurăscu in the 63rd minute of play. When FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Raczyny's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boleslaw Lagiewniki got free with Ovidiu Marin in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Vintilă Bădescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Raczyny the free kick. The supporters of AC Raczyny booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Bădescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Starogardzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Jurăscu in the 82nd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Mikolaj Balonek put in a rough tackle. Alfred Starogardzki had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Petre Bogătan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Boleslaw Lagiewniki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
