The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Remicio got free with Ovidiu Marin in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Rolando Ado in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petre Bogătan. Petre Bogătan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petre Bogătan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Bogătan to maneuver through the defense. Dacian Jurăscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Jurăscu in the 24th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Pastor Oriche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Lisandro Remicio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The tension between the FC Cosula-BTF- and the Formentera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olimpiu Bobeica kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Pastor Oriche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Jurăscu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petre Bogătan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raul Urtats, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Formentera's Pastor Oriche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Jurăscu in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dacian Jurăscu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Pastor Oriche made a huge save. A hard shot 53 in the game by Dacian Jurăscu from a close distance when the talented Pastor Oriche managed to make a qualified save. Formentera's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Hernandez during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 minutes of play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Oriche was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Dacian Jurăscu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pastor Oriche. That made the score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. In the 71st minute, Urbano Telo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute Lisandro Remicio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Cosula-BTF- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
