The corner was taken by 白宁辉 in the 21st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kuwait's goalie and right to 杜源翀. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kuwait's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 23rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from 狄珂霆 hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. If 刘朋益 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 刘朋益 in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamzah Taqi saved Kuwait from getting behind. A collision led to 泾县Red-Star FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. The shot was a little too simple and Hamzah Taqi could save by the left post. 狄珂霆's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hamzah Taqi firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 63rd minute, Faleh Al Adsani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Kuwait's Hamzah Taqi got control of the ball when 刘朋益 tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Kuwait booed when 泾县Red-Star FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. 狄珂霆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Kuwait's goal looked a bit too open when 傅森岩 came free, but Hamzah Taqi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuwait's Hamzah Taqi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Kuwait from getting a goal against them. If 狄珂霆 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When 刘朋益 came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the 泾县Red-Star FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 刘朋益 couldn't finish the play. 泾县Red-Star FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
