Arí Negri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adilson de Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th minute Maicon Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Öktemer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Adilson de Amorim got control of the ball when Darío Benedetto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lütfü Öktemer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
