In the 16thth minute of the game Vânderson de Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Guidovalense's Guillen Aguillar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carmelo Michael made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Neto Queraria sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Guidovalense's Marco Löhr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carmelo Michael. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson de Senna in the 22nd minute of play forced Atlético Guidovalense's goalkeeper Guillen Aguillar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillen Aguillar came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by REMO - FDFDF's Aílton Mineiro. But to his dismay, Aílton Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Guillen Aguillar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Mineiro in the 41st minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Atlético Guidovalense's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Antunes came free, but Guillen Aguillar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led REMO - FDFDF's Norberto Donato to fire away a dangerous shot which Guillen Aguillar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
