TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Paulo Victor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Banegas in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Justino Frichoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrea Cellucci saved Granville from getting behind. Paulo Victor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Banegas in the 15th minute of play. When Filip Mladenovič fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s protests and gave Filip Mladenovič a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to TIMETER EC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Filip Mladenovič hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Teofil Gorzkiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrea Cellucci was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Granville's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Gorzkiewicz came free, but Andrea Cellucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Paulo Victor got control of the ball when Artemio Banegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, Artemio Banegas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulo Victor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Granville were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnaldo Peter took the corner. Paulo Victor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Banegas in the 39th minute. Paulo Victor made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Serafino Urko sent off a good shot on target. Andrea Cellucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Elazar to make the kick off. Paulo Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Banegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Teofil Gorzkiewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Andrea Cellucci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Guilherme Félix was substituted for Roger Freire. Granville made a substitution. Chi-Chi Branca replaced Mauro Elazar. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Victor Aristizábal was substituted for Teofil Gorzkiewicz. Granville's Andrea Cellucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Aristizábal in the 69th minute of play. Andrea Cellucci came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Victor Aristizábal. But to his dismay, Victor Aristizábal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 80th minute, Victor Aristizábal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrea Cellucci was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Andrea Cellucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Aristizábal in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Ruben Ioritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Victor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Chi-Chi Branca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Victor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Victor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Barea, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The TIMETER EC -DMZ- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TIMETER EC -DMZ- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
