If Geovanildo Luis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 5th minute of play forced Fortinero hasta la muerte's goalkeeper Bartolo Sayvion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haji Sarap came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Fortinero hasta la muerte's Ciriaco Baumar. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Baumar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bartolo Sayvion made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Geovanildo Luis sent off a good shot on target. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Drew Zaelani was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bartolo Sayvion in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when João Francisco Arce sped through Fortinero hasta la muerte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bartolo Sayvion. Bartolo Sayvion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 25th minute. Bartolo Sayvion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Geovanildo Luis took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartolo Sayvion. Bartolo Sayvion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Bartolo Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 34th minute of play. Bartolo Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanildo Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Geovanildo Luis rounded Fortinero hasta la muerte's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. In the 44th minute, Bruno Beltxe made a precise shot to the right of Haji Sarap. Joinville City - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Beltxe made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolo Sayvion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute of the match Joinville City - FSCMZ got a corner. Fortinero hasta la muerte's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldinho Gaucho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Joinville City - FSCMZ's João Francisco Arce getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 60th minute, Geovanildo Luis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Sayvion was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Baumar in the 63rd minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortinero hasta la muerte's Bartolo Sayvion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 74th minute of play. Hugo Quintun made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ciriaco Baumar immediately put the ball in play. Geovanildo Luis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bartolo Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Sayvion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Fortinero hasta la muerte's Hugo Quintun got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Tomé Neto got a free kick in the 90th minute. Joinville City - FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
