Juventus EC's Bilbo Arzube played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Vereect in the 8th minute of play. Válbson Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno de Moraes in the 11th minute of play. The Juventus EC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Juventus EC's Ziemowit Dembowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ziemowit Dembowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válbson Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Fabricio Enekoitz got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Magno de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bilbo Arzube showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Antequera in the 29th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Ziemowit Dembowski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Válbson Cunha. Válbson Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ziemowit Dembowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Juventus EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
