Elian Müller scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacarias Sesimbra made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Fedele Moretti sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the game, Dragonf⮊rcE's Barry Houghton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrés Casado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 38th minute, Dragonf⮊rcE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christiano Mangueira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Andrés Casado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Houghton in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Altuğ Yakup got free with Zacarias Sesimbra in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Dragonf⮊rcE getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Rogério Leme hit a great ball. Dragonf⮊rcE's Zacarias Sesimbra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Dragonf⮊rcE from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elian Müller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Dragonf⮊rcE's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Moretti came free, but Zacarias Sesimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barry Houghtons short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Andrés Casado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Moretti in the 57th minute of play forced Dragonf⮊rcE's goalkeeper Zacarias Sesimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Dragonf⮊rcE's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Moretti came free, but Zacarias Sesimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragonf⮊rcE's Zacarias Sesimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Moretti in the 59th minute of play. Barry Houghton might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrés Casado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barry Houghton ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrés Casado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Houghton in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aragorn's goalkeeper Andrés Casado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Sten Sten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Dragonf⮊rcE's Aquilino Sarmento got a free kick in the 71st minute. Zacarias Sesimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Moretti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrés Casado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludo Tobbackers in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Dragonf⮊rcE were awarded a corner. Virgílio Coelho went to the cornerflag to take it. Dragonf⮊rcE's Afonso Quadros was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andrés Casado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ludo Tobbackers hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Andrés Casado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barry Houghton's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. With his leg Andrés Casado managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Dragonf⮊rcE's Barry Houghton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Elian Müller fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aragorn's protests and gave Elian Müller a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Aragorn got a freekick which was hit by Elian Müller. The supporters of Dragonf⮊rcE booed when Aragorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elian Müller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aragorn made a substitution. Ovidio Cuarto replaced Tony Stark. A collision led to Dragonf⮊rcE getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Artur Sawicki hit a great ball. Artur Sawicki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Andrés Casado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chants of Dragonf⮊rcE echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Aragorn had held the ball for most of the match.
