Thanks to some nice moves Charlie Vandamme could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Zacarias Sesimbra however easily saved by the left post. In the 16th minute Baba Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Sesimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Ēriks Berg in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dragonf⮊rcE's Sten Sten. Zacarias Sesimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baba Moco in the 23rd minute of the match. A hard shot 29 in the game by Charlie Vandamme from a close distance when the talented Zacarias Sesimbra managed to make a qualified save. Dragonf⮊rcE's players were relieved. Zacarias Sesimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Dragonf⮊rcE's Zacarias Sesimbra got control of the ball when Charlie Vandamme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dragonf⮊rcE's Zacarias Sesimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baba Moco in the 37th minute of play. Dragonf⮊rcE's Zacarias Sesimbra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Dragonf⮊rcE from getting a goal against them. Dragonf⮊rcE's Daniel Antunes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Durval Nascimento, made in the 40th minute of the game. With a little luck, Dragonf⮊rcE's Zacarias Sesimbra got control of the ball when Charlie Vandamme tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Barry Houghton made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Dragonf⮊rcE's goal looked a bit too open when Baba Moco came free, but Zacarias Sesimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baba Moco took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Sesimbra. Zacarias Sesimbra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dragonf⮊rcE's zone, Flavinho Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Sesimbra came out of the goal and Flavinho Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Sesimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baba Moco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dragonf⮊rcE made a substitution. Artur Sawicki replaced Barry Houghton. Dragonf⮊rcE's Alcino Ribas was substituted for Pedro Pauleta. In the 87th minute of the match Dragonf⮊rcE got a corner. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alcino Ribas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zacarias Sesimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baba Moco, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Rogério Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Charlie Vandamme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Vandamme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alcino Ribas might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Prestes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alcino Ribas ran back to his position shaking his head.
