Celebi FK's Fedai Yahya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Antonelli in the 16th minute of play. When Diamante Negro DK - VV's Mauro Ihintza in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Brant Teague received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rogério Ceni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diamante Negro DK - VV's attentive José Paulo Mattos managed to snatch the ball when Celalettin Ulusan made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venancio Chorche was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Celebi FK's Erdi Talaykan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogério Ceni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fedai Yahya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Victor Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Celebi FK's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Servaes came free, but Fedai Yahya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamante Negro DK - VV made a substitution. Frederico Pontes replaced Mauro Ihintza. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Celebi FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Cruz was slow to take the kick. During this time Diamante Negro DK - VV's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Celebi FK's goalie and right to Willian Félix. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Celebi FK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius Servaes in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedai Yahya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vinícius Servaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fedai Yahya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Vinícius Servaes made a precise shot to the right of Fedai Yahya. Celebi FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The throw-in from Yenal Akkaş in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Diamante Negro DK - VV's Marcos Cruz. Vinícius Servaes struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Fedai Yahya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diamante Negro DK - VV.
