THE OLD BOYS's Hamid Morceli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabé Amice in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, ÇALIMLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levent İnanır to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the game Salim Mammeri made a throw-in which Houari Rimitti played forward. 25 minutes into the game, one of ÇALIMLI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zülfü Dicle hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Abdelkader Merbah with Lennart Bäckström as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rabah Timsit to make the kick off. The penalty shot was made by Ismael Belloumi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ÇALIMLI's Derya Çakır. 7-0. In the 74th minute Rabah Timsit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derya Çakır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes THE OLD BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Timsit. 79 minutes into the game, Rabah Timsit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Derya Çakır was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Rabah Timsit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Derya Çakır. ÇALIMLI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rabah Timsit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Derya Çakır having to make a save. The supporters of THE OLD BOYS booed when ÇALIMLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zekeriya Özbekkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Rabah Timsit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Derya Çakır was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Zülfü Dicle hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in THE OLD BOYS's zone, Zekeriya Özbekkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamid Morceli came out of the goal and Zekeriya Özbekkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the THE OLD BOYS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
