Cauã Lopes came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by ManagerZone Crew's Robert Ununger. But to his dismay, Robert Ununger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Antonio Rüdiger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 11 Schéin Männer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ManagerZone Crew the free kick. Antonio Rüdiger hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes ManagerZone Crew got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Rosario. ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save ManagerZone Crew from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Adrian Våleman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauã Lopes. 11 Schéin Männer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Våleman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 18th minute of play forced 11 Schéin Männer's goalkeeper Cauã Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, 11 Schéin Männer's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Linkhorst came free, but Cauã Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Armstrong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 于竞斐 went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, 于竞斐 took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Patrick Armstrong to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to 11 Schéin Männer getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Thibault Drachmann hit a great ball. Cauã Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Ununger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Armstrong made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Leo Friedl sent off a good shot on target. Patrick Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 于竞斐, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 于竞斐 to make the kick off. Thorbjörn Olerius succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 62nd playminute. Marcus Majewski's late challenge caught a 11 Schéin Männer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Majewski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Robert Ununger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cauã Lopes. The goal made the score 2-4. With a little luck, 11 Schéin Männer's Cauã Lopes got control of the ball when Peter Linkhorst tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Peter Linkhorst dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cauã Lopes, 2-5. The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when 11 Schéin Männer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. 于竞斐 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thorbjörn Olerius took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cauã Lopes. Cauã Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6.
