In the 11thth minute of the game Basarab Arotăriței who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ágætis Byrjun's Serge Buring was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Basarab Arotăriței put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Serge Buring. Thanks to some nice moves Horea Panaitoiu could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Serge Buring however easily saved by the left post. Mădălin Săliştean kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Ágætis Byrjun's Gerrie Kuijsten in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basarab Arotăriței made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerrie Kuijsten in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristide Mârzac prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC Berea's Olimpiu Tapalagă got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gerrie Kuijsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Aristide Mârzac made a huge save. In the 58th minute Gerrie Kuijsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Mârzac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
