Gigi Ardeleanu hit a great ball. Lech Glembin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristide Mârzac read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of FC Berea booed when FC Torpedo Dabrowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartlomiej Cempa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigi Ardeleanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tytus Dombrowski. FC Torpedo Dabrowa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Torpedo Dabrowa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gigi Ardeleanu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Berea's players had a chance to rest. In the 9th minute, Bernard Odachowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ionel Hosu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Berea's protests and gave Ionel Hosu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Torpedo Dabrowa booed when FC Berea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Hosu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tytus Dombrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Tapalagă in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Torpedo Dabrowa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on FC Berea's corner Gigi Ardeleanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tytus Dombrowski quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Berea's Niculae Frumuzache got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Bernard Odachowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristide Mârzac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Glembin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tytus Dombrowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 46 minutes, Basarab Arotăriței managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Berea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basarab Arotăriței was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After 72 played minutes FC Berea got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Tapalagă. Lech Glembin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristide Mârzac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Glembin in the 82nd minute of play. Bernard Odachowski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th match minute, FC Berea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Ardeleanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Basarab Arotăriței ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tytus Dombrowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. FC Berea's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
