Flavio Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Gerrie Kuijsten scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Belasko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Israel Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galáctico Azul FC™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serge Buring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enrique Belasko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathijs Looze in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Flavio Vincente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galáctico Azul FC™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Vincente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serge Buring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Casimiro Ellande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Maurice Haydon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Vincente during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Galáctico Azul FC™ getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Flavio Vincente hit a great ball. Serge Buring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Celino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Belasko was a little too slow when Maurice Haydon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-2. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Maurice Haydon got a free kick in the 36th minute. Enrique Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Haydon, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Honorio Ritchie struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Serge Buring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galáctico Azul FC™. 45 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrie Kuijsten. Erasmo Celino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Celino made a kick off. Erasmo Celino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Ritchie in the 52nd minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Serge Buring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Belasko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerrie Kuijsten went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Erasmo Celino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute of the match, Erasmo Celino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serge Buring saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mathijs Looze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Belasko having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Celino got free with Serge Buring in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 73 minutes of play, Ágætis Byrjun's Gerrie Kuijsten made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Belasko was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Maurice Haydon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Belasko was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Erasmo Celino notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Ágætis Byrjun's Serge Buring. Serge Buring was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Galáctico Azul FC™ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Honorio Lano hit a great ball. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galáctico Azul FC™! Erasmo Celino kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Gerrie Kuijsten took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Belasko. Enrique Belasko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. Galáctico Azul FC™'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
