Mario Peio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Quintal came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Peio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Eliseo Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Romário dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anderbye FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Boedo Crows defense, Kléber Magalhães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Avellaneda. The Boedo Crows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Avellaneda should have stopped the shot. Enzo Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Leonel Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Anderbye FC's Kléber Magalhães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Avellaneda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Anderbye FC's Olavo Gaspar pulled a muscle in his back after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Cesaro during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Boedo Crows's Rodolfo Cesaro got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romário dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Boedo Crows booed when Anderbye FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Boedo Crows's Enzo Avellaneda got control of the ball when Kléber Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Venancio Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Magalhães got free with Enzo Avellaneda in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Venancio Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boedo Crows's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Haritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Anderbye FC's Juninho Goiano got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, Boedo Crows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Martino to maneuver through the defense. Boedo Crows's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Leonel Guimarães scored to the left of an out of position Enzo Avellaneda, making the score, 1-3.
