The corner ended in Santiago Martino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Falkenhide F.C's Reiner Schwanitz did a great save. Peter Görtz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Enzo Avellaneda made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Boedo Crows's Ciro Chuan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Peio to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Boedo Crows defense, Peter Görtz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Avellaneda. The Boedo Crows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Avellaneda should have stopped the shot. The Boedo Crows fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Boedo Crows's Mario Peio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mario Peios short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Reiner Schwanitz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match was over Boedo Crows could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Falkenhide F.C throughout the match.
