The audience was convinced that Feliberto Mouricio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlo Freire was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Orlo Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Gombal in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, MLM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Camara to maneuver through the defense. MLM's Orlo Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Mouricio in the 14th minute of play. Cristos Huarte made a great header on MLM's corner, it was just that Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 19th minute of the match, Candido Valerón tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Octavio Lauaxeta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 20 minutes into the game, Iker Oskarbi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simbo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MLM the free kick. In the 21st minute, Iker Oskarbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gartzea Vera hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Bertol Elias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Octavio Lauaxeta made a huge save. After 31 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Bertol Elias. In the 33rd minute, Feliberto Mouricio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simbo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Octavio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Valerón in the 40th minute of the match. MLM's Orlo Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Gombal in the 42nd minute of play. If Segundo Neron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Gartzea Vera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Gombal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Octavio Lauaxeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Valerón, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gartzea Vera in the 56th minute of play. Octavio Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gartzea Vera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Candido Valerón notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta. Octavio Lauaxeta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simbo FC's Geronimo Beturian was substituted for Gaspar Natanael. Simbo FC's Edelmiro Oihenarte was substituted for Rosendo Joanes. Anartz Tobia kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MLM's Anartz Tobia got a free kick in the 67th minute. Segundo Neron was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Feliberto Mouricio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Orlo Freire made a huge save. If Rogelio Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to MLM getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Charro Alavedra hit a great ball. Simbo FC played a much better game than MLM and deserved their victory. The MLM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
