After a defensive mix-up in Simbo FC's zone, Angelo Uxio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Lauaxeta came out of the goal and Angelo Uxio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Galoer kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Guaberto Eduino struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Octavio Lauaxeta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anjullan AFC. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Anjullan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Neron got free with Marco Edorta in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Anjullan AFC's Amadeo Toro got a free kick in the 12th minute. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Anjullan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Bernaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Neron in the 14th minute of play forced Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Marco Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Simbo FC got a corner. Anjullan AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Segundo Neron ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Simbo FC's corner Segundo Neron fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Edorta quite easily take care of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Angelo Uxio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Lauaxeta. Simbo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Uxio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Octavio Lauaxeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Angelo Uxio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Lauaxeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The corner ended in Guaberto Eduino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Palos got free with Marco Edorta in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Meder made a kick off. Anjullan AFC's Miguel Pedroso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Iker Oskarbi in the 52 minute of the game. Octavio Lauaxeta was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Angelo Uxio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Angelo Uxio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Marco Edorta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Mouricio in the 57th minute of the match. Marco Edorta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Mouricio in the 72nd minute of the match. If Elias Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anjullan AFC's Basilio Salomone was substituted for Erubiel Aureo. Anjullan AFC's Jose Artizar was substituted for Angelo Uxio. Rogelio Gombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Edorta having to make a save. With his leg Octavio Lauaxeta managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Anjullan AFC's Jose Artizar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Feliberto Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Edorta having to interfere. Miguel Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jose Artizar came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Anjullan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Artizar couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute of the game Edelmiro Oihenarte made a throw-in which Feliberto Mouricio played forward. Rogelio Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Edorta having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Anjullan AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
