The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Camara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Angelo Uxio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Orlo Freire. The goal made the score 1-0. Miguel Pedroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Orlo Freire made a huge save. Orlo Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Uxio in the 33rd minute of the match. Orlo Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Uxio went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The corner ended in Guaberto Eduino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MLM's Orlo Freire did a great save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Valerón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Anjullan AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ismael Bernaldo hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Angelo Uxio made a precise shot to the right of Orlo Freire. MLM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 61 minutes into the game, Anjullan AFC's Angelo Uxio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlo Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Marco Edorta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertol Elias in the 65th minute. Erubiel Aureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlo Freire having to interfere. MLM made a substitution. Sagrario Ortega replaced Bertol Elias. Anjullan AFC made a substitution. Matias Ixaka replaced David Herrera. MLM's Orlo Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Meder in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when MLM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brun Mangas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Ixaka in the 78th minute of play forced MLM's goalkeeper Orlo Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Valerón received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Edorta came out and tried to block the shot, but Candido Valerón slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 86th minute. Orlo Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Uxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MLM's Adolfo Camara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guaberto Eduino in the 94 minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Anjullan AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
