The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Guaberto Lekubegi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rai Villalcazar, 1-0. Angel Cordarrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK were furious when Ernesto Barros was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 16th minute, Ernesto Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Solera in the 16th minute of the match. Fulgencio Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtungo Gonzalez in the 23rd minute of play. Silvestre Gumaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rai Villalcazar having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Nelsonteam's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Lekubegi came free, but Rai Villalcazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Urtungo Gonzalez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Francho. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urtungo Gonzalez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Arsenio Lizar got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Urtungo Gonzalez came free, but Fulgencio Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Jonas Vuelta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guaberto Lekubegi to make the kick off. Nelsonteam's attentive Carlos Solera managed to snatch the ball when Constantino Lartaun made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Urtungo Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Francho having to interfere. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Fulgencio Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Vuelta in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Nelsonteam getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Urtungo Gonzalez hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Jonas Vuelta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fulgencio Francho. The goal made the score 1-2. The ARedonditos de Ricota CFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nelsonteam were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
