In the 5th minute, Jonas Vuelta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 minutes of play, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Angel Cordarrell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rai Villalcazar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Orlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rai Villalcazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Nelsonteam booed when ARedonditos de Ricota CFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Lekubegi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelsonteam's Rai Villalcazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Gumaro in the 30th minute of play. Rai Villalcazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Norberto Mayor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Francho. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Mayor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half ARedonditos de Ricota CFK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angel Cordarrell made a kick off. Nelsonteam's Rai Villalcazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Lekubegi in the 52nd minute of play. After 61 played minutes ARedonditos de Ricota CFK got a freekick which was hit by Angel Cordarrell. 67 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Vuelta came free, but Fulgencio Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Guaberto Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rai Villalcazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Elias Kemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes, Medardo Espinosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nelsonteam and the ARedonditos de Ricota CFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Nelsonteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Medardo Espinosa to maneuver through the defense. Angel Cordarrell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Rai Villalcazar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to ARedonditos de Ricota CFK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Constantino Lartaun hit a great ball. Nelsonteam's Rai Villalcazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Nelsonteam from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute Guaberto Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rai Villalcazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
