In the 11th minute of the match TIMETER EC -DMZ- got a corner. Brazil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan Pablo Teran ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joaquim Tande hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes of play, Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Victor was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to TIMETER EC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Joaquim Tande hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Nicolas Alcântara got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mané Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Martins having to make a save. Brazil's Dida Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 26th minute of play. Teofil Gorzkiewicz took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Martins. Dida Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 32 minutes TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Morales Moreira who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Celsinho Perez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo Victor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Paulo Victor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurinho Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Maurinho Mendonça took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Paulo Victor to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Teofil Gorzkiewicz made the kick off in the second half. Celsinho Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. TIMETER EC -DMZ- made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Gol in the 76th minute of play forced TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Paulo Victor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Brazil got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Borges. 78 minutes into the match, Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Alves came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Alves got free with Dida Martins in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TIMETER EC -DMZ- were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Brazil's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Pablo Teran took the corner. Paulo Victor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Gol in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Brazil booed when TIMETER EC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position.
