The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Izaltina FAD's Diego Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Morovan in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Pavel Pacurar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Valladares came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB 09's Marian Morovan. But to his dismay, Marian Morovan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodriguinho Gonçalves. Diego Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Pacurar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Bâru in the 26th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Diego Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ricardinho Arantes fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Izaltina FAD's protests and gave Ricardinho Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu got control of the ball when Cristóvão Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Pacurar in the 39th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Diego Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Cristóvão Paranaense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Morovan came free, but Diego Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Pacurar got free with Diego Valladares in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodriguinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Mirciulescu having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Diego Valladares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Morovan. In the 55th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Mazza to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Diego Valladares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pavel Pacurar. Izaltina FAD's Diego Valladares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Izaltina FAD from getting a goal against them. Daniel Maghiar, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 79th minute, BVB 09's Sandu Bâru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diego Valladares. Diego Valladares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 87 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Marian Morovan. When Ricardinho Arantes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. After 89 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Arantes. Iacob Martinescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diego Valladares. Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Diego Valladares made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Daniel Maghiar sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over BVB 09 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Izaltina FAD throughout the match.
