The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marius Niculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC BRADUL -MM-'s Alfredo Paulista got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Zhao Sen Yang hit a great ball. Marius Niculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Grau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Manuel Pantiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diki Doro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Manuel Pantiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diki Doro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Wielopolski in the 36th minute of play forced FC BRADUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Marius Niculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Niculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Grau, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Marius Niculescu came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau. But to his dismay, Primitivo Grau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
A collision led to FC BRADUL -MM- getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gigel Pașcalău hit a great ball. After 54 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marius Niculescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Primitivo Grau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Marius Niculescu made a huge save. FC BRADUL -MM- made a substitution. Adam Ciocoiu replaced Vali Papaiani. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stasio Bienienda in the 62nd minute. After taking down the ball on Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s corner Stasio Bienienda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marius Niculescu quite easily take care of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, FC BRADUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Marius Niculescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Grau. Paşa Ali Soysan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Marius Niculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Wielopolski in the 69th minute of play. Marius Niculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Tilea in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Adam Ciocoiu came free, but Diki Doro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Wielopolski in the 76th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Zhao Sen Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marius Niculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 80th minute of play. Diki Doro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Ciocoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match FC BRADUL -MM- got a corner. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iustinian Fecioru ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Wielopolski in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paşa Ali Soysan in the 93rd minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurențiu Vlădoiu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when FC BRADUL -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Vlădoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the game's 96th minute Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Marius Niculescu and thus the score was 0-3. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
