Chinho FC's Slaveyko Neev was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Camilo Salvidor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Chinho FC's Gui Almeida got control of the ball when Gabriele Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriele Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gui Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The corner ended in Armando Roland almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chinho FC's Gui Almeida did a great save. Dieter Breves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Camilo Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Breves in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dieter Breves came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Váldson Paiva with Wieslaw Szkaradek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 31st minute Slaveyko Neev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gui Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 35th minute. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieter Breves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Menchu FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Slaveyko Neev was slow to take the kick. During this time Chinho FC's players had a chance to rest. Gui Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriele Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chinho FC booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Sergi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Gabriele Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chinho FC's Gui Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59 minutes, Gabriele Batistuta made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chinho FC's Gui Almeida tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chinho FC made a substitution. Robert Renan replaced Dinei Mendonça. In the 64th minute, Silverio Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slaveyko Neev, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 66th minute of play forced Chinho FC's goalkeeper Gui Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieter Breves in the 71st minute of the match. Menchu FC's Arturo Roderigo was substituted for Peter Söderqwist. The crowd rose to their feet as Călin Senin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Salvidor. That made the score 1-1 in the 78 minute of play. Călin Senin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Camilo Salvidor 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Chinho FC's Slaveyko Neev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Salvidor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slaveyko Neev in the 88th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Călin Senin sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute, Călin Senin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The Menchu FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chinho FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Chinho FC.
