Hermann Hesse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Semail Ercan's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edoardo Pelliccia was slow to take the kick. During this time Kurfalı SK's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Deportivo Popolizio FBC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cleto Trasagua hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Halil Can İhtiyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurfalı SK's Battal Seyyit Bedel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rius Mascaran in the 57th minute of play. Battal Seyyit Bedel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rius Mascaran in the 64th minute of the match. Battal Seyyit Bedel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjørn Trondsen in the 67th minute of play. Battal Seyyit Bedel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Tibor Nyilasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Battal Seyyit Bedel narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the referee blew the final whistle, Deportivo Popolizio FBC could leave the field as winners, despite Kurfalı SK having more of the ball for most of the match.
