An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Bycofski in the 17th minute of play forced Czarni Chropaczów's goalkeeper Benedykt Zakrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, U21 Poland's Zdzislaw Rydzewski got a free kick in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Zbigniew Boniek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Poland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Czarni Chropaczów the free kick. The supporters of Czarni Chropaczów booed when U21 Poland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Boniek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Pająk had several of the Czarni Chropaczów's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Benedykt Zakrzewski as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 28th minute, Witold Bycofski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 31 minutes into the match, Czarni Chropaczów's goalkeeper Benedykt Zakrzewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Pająk. Benedykt Zakrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Bycofski in the 32nd minute of play. After 37 played minutes U21 Poland got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Maziarski. Tanek Wojtyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Lech in the 40th minute of the match. Benedykt Zakrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Bycofski in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Czarni Chropaczów's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Bycofski came free, but Benedykt Zakrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witold Bycofski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 48th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 贺杰浩 to make the kick off. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Lucjan Czapski with Tomasz Frankowski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 55th match minute, U21 Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Rydzewski to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jan Pająk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedykt Zakrzewski was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. U21 Poland's Zdzislaw Rydzewski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eric Esposito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Czarni Chropaczów getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Tomasz Domarecki hit a great ball. Kamilo Glik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedykt Zakrzewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Tanek Wojtyna had great luck who in the 98thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jacek Lech from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The U21 Poland fans cheered their team off the field, for while Czarni Chropaczów had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
