Pedrinho Reis got in the 19th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ronaldão Penha handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Result 0-3. 35 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zico Orange in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldão Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raí Orange in the 39th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vilma Palma's goalie and right to Pedrinho Reis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vilma Palma's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the Vilma Palma defense, Zico Orange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldão Penha. The Vilma Palma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldão Penha should have stopped the shot.
