Cristoforo Morini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Galtero in the 3rd minute of play. Nicolas Galtero might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Morini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Galtero ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Galtero in the 10th minute of play forced Rosenborg's goalkeeper Cristoforo Morini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Nicolas Galtero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rosenborg's Luciano Lluques in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rio Percy's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute of the game Biagio Stellato made a throw-in which Claudio Pani played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wiktor Narbut in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bai Le Zheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Nicolas Galtero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Rio Percy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Bero to maneuver through the defense. When Rosenborg's Wiktor Narbut in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rio Percy's goalie prevented a goal. Rio Percy's Nunez Bastiaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristoforo Morini in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bai Le Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Narbut in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Rosenborg's Matey Matakiev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bai Le Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicolas Galtero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cristoforo Morini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wiktor Narbut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Galtero to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rosenborg getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Claudio Pani hit a great ball. When Aldo Geofredo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio Percy's protests and gave Aldo Geofredo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rosenborg booed when Rio Percy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Geofredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Bero hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Nicolas Galtero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Morini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Rosenborg booed when Rio Percy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wiktor Narbut received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bai Le Zheng came out and tried to block the shot, but Wiktor Narbut slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Rosenborg's Wiktor Narbut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bai Le Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matey Matakiev made a great header on Rosenborg's corner, it was just that Rio Percy's Bai Le Zheng managed to reach the ball for a save. Nicolas Galtero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristoforo Morini having to make a save. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosenborg's goalkeeper Cristoforo Morini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nicolas Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Nicolas Galtero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Morini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Morini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Galtero's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Rosenborg's Antonello Desiderio got a free kick in the 79th minute. Andres Azubeli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristoforo Morini. Rosenborg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rosenborg's Daniele Ramundo was substituted for Luciano Lluques. Nicolas Galtero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Daniele Ramundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Percy's Bai Le Zheng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bai Le Zheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Ramundo's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Cristoforo Morini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Galtero in the 89th minute of the match. In the last second Bai Le Zheng throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wiktor Narbut in the 91stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Bai Le Zheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Ramundo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Rio Percy booed when Rosenborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Pani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
