The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Rami narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Geovanildo Luis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MaRaBa's Ildefonso Rami. Ildefonso Rami was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the game, Geovanildo Luis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ildefonso Rami was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geovanildo Luis might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ildefonso Rami. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovanildo Luis ran back to his position shaking his head. Agah Bostan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 29th minute of play forced MaRaBa's goalkeeper Ildefonso Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes of play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ildefonso Rami was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agah Bostan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MaRaBa getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Agah Bostan hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovanildo Luis was the one to do the kick off. In the 60thth minute of the game Geovanildo Luis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MaRaBa's Ildefonso Rami was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Agah Bostan in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Drew Zaelani. 62 minutes into the match, MaRaBa's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanildo Luis came free, but Ildefonso Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joinville City - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after MaRaBa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ronaldinho Gaucho took the corner. Geovanildo Luis scored 0-6 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ildefonso Rami, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ildefonso Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 69th minute of the match. Ildefonso Rami made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ronaldinho Gaucho sent off a good shot on target. After 74 minutes MaRaBa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronaldinho Gaucho who took care of the corner kick. Nedim Ünsever hit a great ball. Ildefonso Rami stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovanildo Luis's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovanildo Luis in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Rami prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute Geovanildo Luis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Joinville City - FSCMZ got a corner. MaRaBa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldinho Gaucho ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ronaldinho Gaucho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ildefonso Rami quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Mbaka N'Diaye was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The throw-in from Agah Bostan in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Drew Zaelani. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedim Ünsever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
