Iordache Albu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwan Kasiewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iordache Albu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Yun Fan in the 8th minute of the match. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Kurdistan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saruhan Akyazıcı was slow to take the kick. During this time FC MeHigh's players had a chance to rest. Traian Curuțiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaaddin Solskjær having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC MeHigh's Gigi Joanță got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Yin Yun Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Fredric Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Albu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC MeHigh's Iordache Albu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Sundström in the 31st minute of play. Iordache Albu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yin Yun Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kurdistan from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Fredric Hybbert notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC MeHigh's Iordache Albu. Iordache Albu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute, Iwan Kasiewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Traian Curuțiu was the one to do the kick off. Iordache Albu made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Lars Sundström sent off a good shot on target. FC Kurdistan were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after FC MeHigh's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kjell Mattsson took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Iwan Kasiewski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Iordache Albu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Yun Fan in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC MeHigh's zone, Lars Sundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordache Albu came out of the goal and Lars Sundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC MeHigh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Yin Yun Fan scored to the left of an out of position Iordache Albu, making the score, 0-2. FC Kurdistan's Elliot Nordgren was substituted for Lars Sundström. Iordache Albu made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Fredric Hybbert sent off a good shot on target. FC Kurdistan's Jörgen Levander was substituted for Fredric Hybbert. 80 minutes into the match, FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Iordache Albu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Ritchie. In the 82nd minute of the match FC Kurdistan got a corner. FC MeHigh's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kjell Mattsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Kurdistan's Yin Yun Fan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iordache Albu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell Mattsson during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Mattsson. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when FC MeHigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Ivasiuc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elliot Nordgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Iordache Albu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FC MeHigh's Iordache Albu got control of the ball when Elliot Nordgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded FC Kurdistan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC MeHigh.
