Sem Titulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Terwester, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Nicolás Castillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theodor Adorno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 40th match minute, West Staines Massive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matti Stetter to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

West Staines Massive's Bernie Sanders was substituted for Andy Lackmann. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolás Castillo to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Gulak came free, but Theodor Adorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Harry Arndt fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Staines Massive's protests and gave Harry Arndt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jataiense Futebol Clube booed when West Staines Massive was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Arndt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Candido Urbes came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Jataiense Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Urbes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heribert Gulden in the 72nd minute of play forced Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sem Titulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theodor Adorno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Mineiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Gulak came free, but Theodor Adorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolás Castillo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.

West Staines Massive's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
