Moselkern's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralph Havemann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belaid Moll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaap Geenen in the 8th minute of play forced Shelburne Falls's goalkeeper Belaid Moll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralph Havemann hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Camel Bezzaz struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Daniel Kalb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shelburne Falls. Belaid Moll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Humbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Shelburne Falls's Anther Mamouni got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mohamed Schoonmaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Shelburne Falls's Anther Mamouni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Kalb. Daniel Kalb yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Daniel Kalb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anther Mamouni in the 44th minute of play. Shelburne Falls's Anther Mamouni got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olaf Humbert to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anther Mamouni in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Kalb saved Moselkern from getting behind. Mohammed Lamine kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Moselkern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yussuf Gabler to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Hippo Winterhalter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moselkern's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shelburne Falls the free kick. After a rather tough play, Moselkern's Hippo Winterhalter got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Anther Mamouni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Daniel Kalb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Olaf Humbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belaid Moll was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olaf Humbert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 72 minute of play. Daniel Kalb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anther Mamouni, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Olaf Humbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Belaid Moll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörn Blassel charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörn Blassel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 92 minutes into the match, Moselkern's goal looked a bit too open when Anther Mamouni came free, but Daniel Kalb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anther Mamouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
