A collision led to Molassana getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Corrado Pasquale hit a great ball. Braydon McWilliam charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braydon McWilliam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Braydon McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ennio Sampo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Becc McCollion made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boru Ramsey in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrico Di Carlo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Molassana's Corrado Pasquale ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Becc McCollion. Becc McCollion yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boru Ramsey in the 34th minute of play forced Molassana's goalkeeper Enrico Di Carlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Molassana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Comunardo Croce to maneuver through the defense. Becc McCollion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corrado Pasquale's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Becc McCollion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Pasquale in the 46th minute of play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boru Ramsey was the one to do the kick off. Boru Ramsey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Enrico Di Carlo made a huge save. Boru Ramsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Boru Ramsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheriffhill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boru Ramsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Becc McCollion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio Sampo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Molassana booed when Sheriffhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Tracy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrico Di Carlo made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Boru Ramsey sent off a good shot on target. Corrado Pasquale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blake Walker hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Sheriffhill's Becc McCollion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Sampo in the 71st minute of play. With his leg Enrico Di Carlo managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Sheriffhill's Boru Ramsey fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 73 minutes into the match, Molassana's goalkeeper Enrico Di Carlo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boru Ramsey. Enrico Di Carlo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boru Ramsey's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Biagio Ritacco hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Sheriffhill's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Pasquale came free, but Becc McCollion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Molassana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso De Angelis to maneuver through the defense. Bernard Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Molassana players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
