Belaid Moll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotiris Troupkos, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Avraam Petalidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anther Mamouni in the 21st minute of the match. Belaid Moll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sotiris Troupkos went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Plakoti's Menios Tiropoulos got a free kick in the 24th minute. Belaid Moll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotiris Troupkos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 32 minutes, Madhi Chedda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shelburne Falls and the Plakoti players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Plakoti booed when Shelburne Falls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madhi Chedda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Shelburne Falls's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Troupkos came free, but Belaid Moll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Plakoti got a freekick which was hit by Stavros Laskaridis. In the 44th match minute, Shelburne Falls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Ibrir to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Renos Karanikolaou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sotiris Troupkos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Belaid Moll having to make a save.

A collision led to Plakoti getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Stavros Laskaridis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anther Mamouni in the 55th minute of play forced Plakoti's goalkeeper Avraam Petalidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avraam Petalidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anther Mamouni's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Sotiris Troupkos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plakoti's supporters rose to their feet, but Sotiris Troupkos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belaid Moll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 minutes of play Shelburne Falls's Madhi Chedda was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 64th match minute, Shelburne Falls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madhi Chedda to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Sotiris Troupkos put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Belaid Moll. Plakoti's Theagenis Tsoros was substituted for Markos Loulakis. When Plakoti's Sotiris Troupkos in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shelburne Falls's goalie prevented a goal. Mohamed Schoonmaker's late challenge caught a Plakoti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The supporters of Plakoti booed when Shelburne Falls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Schoonmaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belaid Moll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stratos Mamakos in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Plakoti eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
