In the 21stth minute of the game Torbjørn Trondsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Araoz Solanos kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Cirilo Ritchie notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse. Hermann Hesse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjørn Trondsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Olly Morgan came free, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Araoz Solanos got a free kick in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Torbjørn Trondsen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arif Ozan Oğuztan. That made the score 2-2 in the 45 minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Ritchie to make the kick off. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Ritchie in the 53rd minute of play. Torbjørn Trondsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Ozan Oğuztan having to interfere. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Rius Mascaran replaced Torbjørn Trondsen. Rius Mascaran might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Ozan Oğuztan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rius Mascaran ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rius Mascaran in the 65th minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Oğuztan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrecifes's Hipolito Laurendi was substituted for Carlos Eufrasio. After 74 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Trasagua. Cleto Trasagua made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Arrecifes's Raul Vigil. In the 78th match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin De Bruyne to maneuver through the defense. Rius Mascaran might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Ozan Oğuztan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rius Mascaran ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Rius Mascaran came free, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Hägglund to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felipe Senon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Senon in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermann Hesse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Arrecifes fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Arrecifes's Felipe Senon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arrecifes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
