Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Baby in the 43rd minute of play. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Boström came free, but Zé Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Inazuma Japan's zone, Ricky Baby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Vieira came out of the goal and Ricky Baby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Boström in the 56th minute of the match. Zé Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Boström's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Charlie Boström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Vieira. Francisco Secco was slow to take the kick. During this time A.A. Francana's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Roman Koenig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Vieira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Renan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Paiva in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Caio Neiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inazuma Japan and the A.A. Francana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Inazuma Japan got a freekick which was hit by Caio Neiva. After 67 played minutes, A.A. Francana's Francisco Secco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Vieira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.A. Francana reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlie Boström in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Vieira saved Inazuma Japan from getting behind. When Ricky Baby came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the A.A. Francana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricky Baby couldn't finish the play. Rui Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricky Baby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Inazuma Japan getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Caio Neiva hit a great ball. When A.A. Francana's Charlie Boström in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
