An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Negri in the 17th minute of play forced CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goalkeeper Helmuth Miner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Brașoveanu in the 19th minute of play forced Warm's goalkeeper Geert Lambert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's corner Dodorol Miner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geert Lambert quite easily take care of the ball. Helmuth Miner came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Warm's Alek Candries. But to his dismay, Alek Candries quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 31 minutes, Alek Candries managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alek Candries was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geert Lambert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simula Miner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helmuth Miner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alek Candries in the 38th minute of the match. Alex Brașoveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geert Lambert having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alek Candries was the one to do the kick off. Geert Lambert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Popcorn Miner in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Popcorn Miner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geert Lambert was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goalkeeper Helmuth Miner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredinho Negri. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mickael Enting was slow to take the kick. During this time Warm's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Mickael Enting almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Helmuth Miner did a great save. Geert Lambert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beat Miner's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th match minute, Warm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mickael Enting to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Popcorn Miner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geert Lambert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warm's Geert Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Popcorn Miner in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Popcorn Miner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geert Lambert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Alek Candries fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warm's protests and gave Alek Candries a yellow card for diving instead. Geert Lambert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Brașoveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geert Lambert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Popcorn Miner, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The corner ended in Dodorol Miner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Warm's Geert Lambert did a great save. Helmuth Miner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredinho Negri in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
