Fryderyk Cizeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Erland in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, AS Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Markos to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Mauro Primeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fryderyk Cizeski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Primeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tiger De Hond came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Poli Timisoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiger De Hond couldn't finish the play. Klement Ledochowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ovidiu Adrian could save by the left post. In the 73rd minute Max Duinhoven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Adrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes AS Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Klement Ledochowski. 76 minutes into the game, Bartosz Erland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Fryderyk Cizeski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiger De Hond scored 4-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fryderyk Cizeski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ovidiu Adrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Pietrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the AS Gdynia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Poli Timisoara.
