Zerdalitepe's Akif Akın got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Zerdalitepe's Akif Akın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 24 played minutes, Kaysersheim's Matijs De Vlaeminck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Barrionuevo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kaysersheim reached it. 29 minutes into the match, Zerdalitepe's Tunç Akkaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otoniel Mondragon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Zerdalitepe's Ali Asım Mülayim to a score. 0-2 in the 31st minute. Garip Kadrican recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Otoniel Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tunç Akkaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Kaysersheim's Thobias Hacke got a free kick in the 38th minute. The supporters of Zerdalitepe booed when Kaysersheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Zeitner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Zerdalitepe's Garip Kadrican broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zerdalitepe! When the match had been going on for 50 minutes, Kaysersheim's Matijs De Vlaeminck got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Francisco Barrionuevo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loid Vrints to strike the kick off in the second half. Otoniel Mondragon was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Akif Akın capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Akif Akın really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Kaysersheim's Otoniel Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garip Kadrican in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match Zerdalitepe got a corner. Kaysersheim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Garip Kadrican ran over to the corner to take the kick. Garip Kadrican made a great header on Zerdalitepe's corner, it was just that Kaysersheim's Otoniel Mondragon managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Akif Akın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otoniel Mondragon was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Kaysersheim's Erik-Jan Verheugen got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tunç Akkaya. The crowd rose to their feet as Zerdalitepe's Akif Akın slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Otoniel Mondragon. That made the score 1-4 after 73 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tunç Akkaya in the 76th minute of play forced Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Zerdalitepe's goal looked a bit too open when Thibaud Neesens came free, but Francisco Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibaud Neesens in the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Zerdalitepe's Tunç Akkaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otoniel Mondragon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 88th minute, Tunç Akkaya reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Otoniel Mondragon. The goal made the score 1-6. After 92 minutes of play, Zerdalitepe's Tunç Akkaya made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otoniel Mondragon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zerdalitepe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
