Georg Hagberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samaniego Corel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes of play, No Me Inscriban Gracias's Rafael Casados made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. De-Jesús Cardon was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg got control of the ball when Sanchez Carro tried to sneak it across the goal line. De-Jesús Cardon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick Heesen's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the No Me Inscriban Gracias defense, Nick Heesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of De-Jesús Cardon. The No Me Inscriban Gracias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that De-Jesús Cardon should have stopped the shot. Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Casados in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Casados came free, but Georg Hagberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Manso hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, No Me Inscriban Gracias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Laso to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nick Heesen to make the kick off. Moreno Goite thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished De-Jesús Cardon, a very annoying self made goal in the 84th minute which led to 2-5. In the 87th minute, Moreno Goite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes No Me Inscriban Gracias got a freekick which was hit by Moreno Goite. Moreno Goite made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Uriel Valenciano immediately put the ball in play. Ágætis Byrjun's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
