Spectators: 5946 (Terracing: 4517, Seating: 1384, VIP seats: 45) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stefan Strömbom made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Eleuterio Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eleuterio Milian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tord Forsberg was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Eleuterio Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentinos Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Milian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tord Forsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Argentinos Juniors's Saturnino Arixo was substituted for Baldomero Lucila. In the 21st minute Sture Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Brogren came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Petruț Fințescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentinos Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petruț Fințescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tord Forsberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven de Zwaan in the 25th minute. Sture Brogren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Nazario having to make a save. In the 33rd minute, Huaröd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Petruț Fințescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Sven de Zwaan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Huaröd's Tord Forsberg. Tord Forsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tord Forsberg made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sven de Zwaan sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Eleuterio Milian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentinos Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Huaröd's zone, Petruț Fințescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tord Forsberg came out of the goal and Petruț Fințescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tord Forsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petruț Fințescu's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Petruț Fințescu put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tord Forsberg. 62 minutes into the match, Huaröd's goal looked a bit too open when Sven de Zwaan came free, but Tord Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Argentinos Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leon Richie in the 64th minute. Tord Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven de Zwaan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Argentinos Juniors's Eleuterio Milian in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huaröd's goalie prevented a goal. Tord Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Milian in the 76th minute of the match. Argentinos Juniors were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Huaröd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leon Richie took the corner. After 79 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Fințescu. With an all-out effort, Huaröd's Rigoberto Nazario threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stefan Strömbom, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 83 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Smitt came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sture Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rigoberto Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tord Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Fințescu in the 89th minute of the match.

Argentinos Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
