In the 6th minute, Bialski Bastion Legii's Boguslaw Bartochowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mirko Vervoort. Mirko Vervoort yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Pieter de Zwart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Jerzy Gonsiewski could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Mirko Vervoort however easily saved by the left post. 16 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Starogardzki came free, but Mirko Vervoort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bialski Bastion Legii getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Stanislaw Odachowski hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Mirko Vervoort had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerzy Gonsiewski. 25 minutes into the match, Boguslaw Bartochowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mirko Vervoort, 2-1. Walery Bartelak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter de Zwart in the 28th minute of play. Milosz Starogardzki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Mirko Vervoort skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Boguslaw Bartochowski had several of the Mijdrecht Maffia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Mirko Vervoort as he didn't even see the shot coming. Boguslaw Bartochowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mirko Vervoort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Boguslaw Bartochowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bialski Bastion Legii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boguslaw Bartochowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Boguslaw Bartochowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko Vervoort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 53rd minute of play. Mirko Vervoort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Domalik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mijdrecht Maffia defense, Zbigniew Domalik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mirko Vervoort. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mirko Vervoort should have stopped the shot. In the 71stth minute of the game Pieter de Zwart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bialski Bastion Legii's Walery Bartelak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stanislaw Odachowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Vervoort having to interfere. Mirko Vervoort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Gonsiewski in the 79th minute of play. Walery Bartelak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wouter Matthijs in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wouter Matthijs in the 82nd minute of play forced Bialski Bastion Legii's goalkeeper Walery Bartelak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Teun Moek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mijdrecht Maffia and the Bialski Bastion Legii players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mijdrecht Maffia's Teun Moek got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes, Bialski Bastion Legii's Marek Malik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mirko Vervoort came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bialski Bastion Legii reached it. 94 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Bartochowski came free, but Mirko Vervoort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Stanislaw Odachowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arda Heerckes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
