After 3 played minutes Fc Otelul Galati got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Arsenescu. In the 6th minute, Honorato Federigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Fc Otelul Galati's Horaţiu Covaci got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Teodorescu in the 9th minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Celso Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Federigo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Nichifor Feroiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 12th minute Genaro Tebaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Feroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Fc Otelul Galati's Nichifor Feroiu got control of the ball when Honorato Federigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Guanacos were awarded a corner. Gustavo Berdoi went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Guanacos's corner Gustavo Berdoi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nichifor Feroiu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute, Alin Teodorescu made a precise shot to the right of Celso Frutos. Guanacos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the Guanacos defense, Horaţiu Covaci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Frutos. The Guanacos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Frutos should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Teodorescu in the 33rd minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Celso Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Tobias Natal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guanacos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Esteban Justin hit a great ball. Alin Teodorescu scored 1-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Frutos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Alin Teodorescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Alin Teodorescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Natal took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nichifor Feroiu. Nichifor Feroiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Fc Otelul Galati's Nichifor Feroiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Natal in the 61st minute of play. Tobias Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Covaci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Otelul Galati's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guanacos the free kick. Horaţiu Covaci hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Fc Otelul Galati got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Chelbea. 73 minutes into the game, Genaro Tebaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Nichifor Feroiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guanacos's Melchor Dimo was substituted for Genaro Tebaldo. In the 88th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Quentin to maneuver through the defense. Fc Otelul Galati's Nichifor Feroiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Natal in the 91st minute of play. Nichifor Feroiu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Guanacos's Tobias Natal shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Nichifor Feroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Federigo in the 96th minute of play.
