The referee ignored Samsunspor SK2011's protests and gave İstemihan Ünsever a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Samsunspor SK2011 getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. İstemihan Ünsever hit a great ball. In the 5th minute of the match, Mario Policarpio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kutluay Gökekin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 17 minutes into the match, Samsunspor SK2011's goalkeeper Kutluay Gökekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Eleder. Isaac Eleder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgun Türemen in the 24th minute of play forced Villa La Perla's goalkeeper Nicasio Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Samsunspor SK2011 got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet İlke Onuk. Isaac Eleder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Kutluay Gökekin made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Isaac Eleder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kutluay Gökekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kutluay Gökekin made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Isaac Eleder sent off a good shot on target. Türker Sonalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Olgun Türemen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Nicasio Calvino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute Olgun Türemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Isaac Eleder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kutluay Gökekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Türker Sonalp made a kick off. The supporters of Samsunspor SK2011 booed when Villa La Perla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Inautzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Villa La Perla's zone, Türker Sonalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Calvino came out of the goal and Türker Sonalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samsunspor SK2011's Kandemir Tezel pulled a muscle in his leg after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Samsunspor SK2011's Bircan İmar was substituted for Kandemir Tezel. If Olgun Türemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bircan İmar fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Kutluay Gökekin came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Villa La Perla's Isaac Eleder. But to his dismay, Isaac Eleder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Eleder in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kutluay Gökekin saved Samsunspor SK2011 from getting behind. After 76 minutes, Isaac Eleder made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Samsunspor SK2011's Kutluay Gökekin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th match minute, Villa La Perla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Eleder to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Villa La Perla's Isaac Eleder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kutluay Gökekin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The Villa La Perla players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
