Fabien Andries's late challenge caught a ForestFire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabien Andries helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Pezerik got a freekick which was hit by Jerome Theunis. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Johnathan Cardenas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gerard Naessens hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. ForestFire's Zachariah Barth couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pezerik. A collision led to Pezerik getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Wesley Dewinter hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes Pezerik got a freekick which was hit by Jerome Theunis. Julius Van Langendonckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlton McDonough in the 21st minute of play. After 26 played minutes Pezerik got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan De Smet. After some careless play in the Pezerik defense, Charlton McDonough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julius Van Langendonckx. The Pezerik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julius Van Langendonckx should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as ForestFire's Duncan Nichols slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julius Van Langendonckx. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. Duncan Nichols's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julius Van Langendonckx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Wart Goegebeur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabien Andries to make the kick off. Reed Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabien Andries in the 54th minute of the match. After 55 minutes, Peter-Jan Scheppers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pezerik and the ForestFire players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Peter-Jan Scheppers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 minutes, Charlton McDonough made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pezerik's Julius Van Langendonckx tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julius Van Langendonckx came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by ForestFire's Charlton McDonough. But to his dismay, Charlton McDonough quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pezerik's zone, Charlton McDonough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Van Langendonckx came out of the goal and Charlton McDonough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pezerik's Julius Van Langendonckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duncan Nichols in the 70th minute of play. Julius Van Langendonckx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duncan Nichols went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the game, Charlton McDonough cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Julius Van Langendonckx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Pezerik's Gerard Naessens got a free kick in the 81st minute. Julius Van Langendonckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Nichols in the 95th minute of play.
