When Julio Gipuzkoa came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Zuberbühler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Gipuzkoa couldn't finish the play. In the 10thth minute of the game Julio Gipuzkoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Urmas Känsäkangas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hernan Estevon. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Jacky Jamieson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Zuberbühler FC's Casimiro Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urmas Känsäkangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Garin hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Carmelo Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuberbühler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Corderun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urmas Känsäkangas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Casimiro Romero came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Zuberbühler FC fans jumped to their feet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Gipuzkoa during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Romero. After 44 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Mantzio. The audience was convinced that Xavier Goossens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 龚扬强 was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Xavier Goossens made the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Corderun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Urmas Känsäkangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes of play, Zuberbühler FC's Julio Gipuzkoa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urmas Känsäkangas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zuberbühler FC's 龚扬强 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 57th minute of play. Zuberbühler FC's Paulo Garin got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Paulo Garin off the ground. SK Gullegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias-Alexander Jamieson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edward Scigan fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Gullegem's protests and gave Edward Scigan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Edward Scigan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Mehmet Halis Kutsalmis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuberbühler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Halis Kutsalmis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urmas Känsäkangas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Feliciano Harri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th match minute, SK Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Jamieson to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Feliciano Harri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urmas Känsäkangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Harri came free, but Urmas Känsäkangas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zuberbühler FC were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after SK Gullegem's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eustacio Mantzio took the corner. Serafin Ishmael hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zuberbühler FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SK Gullegem had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
