General Velásquez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rico Marica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Guntademaro Goyenechea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Inacio Pabon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Capablanca in the 15th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. General Velásquez's Apolo Irigoyen got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Guntademaro Goyenechea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The General Velásquez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Rolf Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rico Marica in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Rico Marica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Rolf Holmgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shi Fan Rong kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Inacio Pabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Irigoyen in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lia Bacon. In the 39th match minute, TiGrEs Fx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İnanç Gençoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Inacio Pabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofan Bozadzhiyski in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Gustav Tidéksson got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Lia Bacon made the kick off in the second half. Rolf Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rico Marica in the 51st minute of the match. Inacio Pabon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 52nd minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Lia Bacon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rico Marica in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Rico Marica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Inacio Pabon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Rico Marica managed to get in a good position for a shot. TiGrEs Fx's supporters rose to their feet, but Rico Marica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Holmgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. General Velásquez's Manuelo Oñez y Loyola was substituted for Silvino Phillips. A nice corner shot did that Teofan Bozadzhiyski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Inacio Pabon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rolf Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rico Marica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. General Velásquez walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
